There are several ways to watch the NBA Finals without cable free and paid. There are a few new titles on Netflix and streaming free for the new month. It's getting easier and easier to be a cord cutter with Showtime announcing details on its subscription streaming service. Have a great weekend!
The NBA Finals are streaming free on ESPN3 (through supported internet providers) or with Sling TV (free trials available). They can also be watched free with an antenna on ABC. The next game is Sunday at 8pm.

- Sunday: Padres vs Reds, 1:10pm
The PGA Memorial Tournament has free streaming coverage throughout the day all weekend. Featured groups and holes are available all day Fri-Sun and the afternoon CBS broadcast is also free on Sat & Sun on the PGA app for iPhone, iPad, Android, or PC.
X Games Austin has some free coverage throughout the weekend on ESPN3.
Some other events free with an antenna this weekend: NBC has game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday night, French Open men's and women's finals Saturday and Sunday at 9am, respectively, and the Belmont Stakes on Saturday at 4:30pm. FOX has Champions League soccer on Saturday at 4:30pm.

St Vincent starring Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy is the iTunes 99¢ rental of the week.

Netflix is testing pre-roll and post-roll ads on some devices, but the ads are only for other Netflix content. One of my favorite things about Netflix and HBO Go is their lack of ads, but I don't mind when HBO uses pre-roll spots to advertise other HBO content. Hopefully Netflix isn't testing this as a way to generate more revenue to keep up with the growing costs of acquiring and creating exclusive content.
Showtime will be launching a standalone streaming service for $11 per month to compete with HBO Now. It will debut on July 12th on the Apple TV and apps for Apple devices.
